Ledlenser MT10 flashlight
This pocket-sized flashlight by Ledlenser could have saved many a shipwreck if the sailor from the crow’s nest had this handy beacon to stage at shallow seas. That may be an overstatement, but it would definitely have helped locate the rats hiding in the hold. Not that you’ve got rats beneath the hood, but this tiny flashlight will light up what is leaking beneath your vehicle or assist you in times of need.
Ledlenser creates a large number of headlamps and flashlights. We analyzed the MT10 exterior series flashlight, which packs a powerful punch. Its “innovative focus system” is a blend of a reflector and a 1,000-Lumens lens creates light that’s sharp up to 180 metres off for up to six hours. At lower light settings, it must endure 144 hours before needing a recharge. A micro-USB belt and cable pouch are included.
Keep this gadget at the console. Just click on the button a few times and the lamp is soft enough to see a map. (Remember those?) Under the hood, it lights stains the big-trouble lamps do not dare go. Looking down the street, place the beam on complete and watch the bunnies scurry. Place it on strobe and you will disorient anyone threatening you.
